We work hard looking for training opportunities that are funded by companies and when you are on our email list you will be notified of these opportunities.
Learnerships are accredited national qualifications where you spent the majority of the time (70%) at a workplace and the balance receiving training (30%). This provides you with the opportunity to not only get a national qualification but also get important work experience. You then have an opportunity to make a real impression on an employer to show that it would be a great business decision appointing you. This enables you to end up with a qualification and employment!
We also work with companies to offer skills programs which are also accredited and form part of a qualification to equip learners with certain skills that are required in today’s workplace

Although it is funded training with Prosherum we go the extra mile in supporting you to succeed. Your success is our success.
We are a non-profit and we use donations to:
Provide a proper selection process. It takes time but it helps to ensure that we match the right people with the right career. Maybe you will be an excellent accountant and now we registered you for a plumbing course and you end up being an average plumber. This is why we want to make sure that you are in a course and career that are aligned with your ability, potential and passion.
Provide life skills training and support to help equip you with life challenges. Maybe you have had a difficult story to tell, you are not the only one, however, it is your story, your feeling. We want to help you tell the best story of your life.
Provide tools of the trade. If you would like to complete your studies and consider starting your own business then we can help you. This can be in the form of business support, computers etc. We do expect you to pay a small fee for this.
Provide technical skills training – if you need to do computer training then we can use our donations to offer this training to you. We help to prepare you for your interviews and appropriate work and team behaviour.

What we want from our learners!
- they are focused on completing the training even if life provides some obstacles. The will to succeed is important but even more important is the will to prepare to succeed. You must want to prepare to succeed.
- that they will learn diligently. Some people think since they are not paying for it they don’t have to commit and do not care that they have denied someone else the opportunity. We are looking for those who realise since they are not paying for it they must make use of this opportunity to the best of their ability. Those are the learners that we at Prospherum (and our country) are looking for.
- Act with integrity (the quality of having strong ethical or moral principles and following them at all times, no matter who’s watching) while studying and working.
